Behind the Scenes: Part 1 Why did it change?

I hope you feel like reading because I feel like explaining.

So some know some don't. Pirate Madeline has been restarted 3 times! Here's some Pirate Madeline history: (2009-2013)

(2009-2010) The first time was because people felt it was too ecchi. That will be it's own section I will get to that in it's own part in depth, for I have plenty to say, but long story short, Madeline started as an ecchi comedy, the problem was two fold, some women felt it went too far, and some fan boys wanted it to go further, while the story was meant to be light-hearted and funny it soon got way out of hand. It was the hardest decision in my life to stop it. It never went beyond PG-13, but still I didn't want to get old one day and still be fighting people off. No thanks.

(2010-2011)The second time is because thanks to stories like LOST, V (the Alien one) that go no where or don't live up to the mystery people felt what I was writing in the second version of Madeline wasn't going to pay off. The people who read the original script knows it did but, again I choose to reset rather then have rude people tell me I "jumped the shark" Which is what was occurring at the time. Still the second version brought with it a lot of interesting ideas, including the battle introduction rather then the dry start of the comedy version, going right into jokes. Along with an earlier introduction of the Skelly King.

(2011-2012)So then came Hokey and Pokey: (You can find it here randommode.deviantart.com/gall… ) Hokey and Pokey was a side story I wrote to keep sharp and try new techniques while I tried to figure out what to do about the Main story in Pirate Madeline. Hokey and Pokey is a STAND ALONE STORY, but if you are sharp and love sci-fi it also actually shows how the other two stories fold into the new one using Quantum Mechanics, a field which I love very much. Zhin uses Hokey to fix time and space, wrap your mind around that one!

However! The idea Hokey and Pokey brought was giant robot battles, something I loved from my youth (the 90s) but has much deflated in current anime, it gets too dramatic, and too political, two things that don't go with the light-hearted silliness of a giant robot.

(2012- Present) And so here we are at the present the Pirate Madeline that just started, this version combines the other two versions together, people will see the similarities between the Second remake and the current one (The picture above) And you can see how the robots are now part of the story.

I am going to post the next page tomorrow or Wednesday, whichever makes the better product if you noticed I have been missing days here and there, but I want to make sure it all goes right this time, and I determined to make sure it does.
