Well thought by now you of all people would be able to recognize weird now that you have Pokey as you avatar, nuff said.
But anycase this one really shows off some your art muscle both for the way you handle action and perspective all in the same slice. The way you build up the shock and horror even in the first panel rather like and further compliments on the way you show the terror on the way the rest of the crew reacts, very human and realistic to have that there.
As for perspective this works best as it shows the vastness of the oncoming metallic beast being a triumphant bastard as all hell just broke loose and even nice to see you were smart to include the ship and island to keep their small size in comparison to this things emergence.
Additionally other good areas like that you went for was even the shadow that continues to overhang the boat to keep you in a sense of dread for the crew of Madeline and that last laughing shot to really grind your gears and demand to know whats to come next.
Oh yes anatomy and overall style of your work again shows even more realism and sense of improvement. Even with the anime-ish look of the comic, it doesn't take only this crab to see that your work is changing/growing.
