Pokey and Hokey vs A Horrible Thought! by Randommode Pokey and Hokey vs A Horrible Thought! by Randommode
As long as we are on the subject of things that don't make sense, how did they hear her from way up there? And didn't they see the robot's head outside of the water? I dunno it's a weird comic lol

Man guess they weren't kidding when they said that these were dangerous waters, should we star manning the lifeboats in a sappy dramatic fashion sir?

Well thought by now you of all people would be able to recognize weird now that you have Pokey as you avatar, nuff said.

But anycase this one really shows off some your art muscle both for the way you handle action and perspective all in the same slice. The way you build up the shock and horror even in the first panel rather like and further compliments on the way you show the terror on the way the rest of the crew reacts, very human and realistic to have that there.

As for perspective this works best as it shows the vastness of the oncoming metallic beast being a triumphant bastard as all hell just broke loose and even nice to see you were smart to include the ship and island to keep their small size in comparison to this things emergence.

Additionally other good areas like that you went for was even the shadow that continues to overhang the boat to keep you in a sense of dread for the crew of Madeline and that last laughing shot to really grind your gears and demand to know whats to come next.

Oh yes anatomy and overall style of your work again shows even more realism and sense of improvement. Even with the anime-ish look of the comic, it doesn't take only this crab to see that your work is changing/growing.

Yeah when I did that shot originally the shadows were much lighter, but I went in and made them darker to show the danger of it. I sat that there for an hour putting "anime" dings and dents and minor imperfections in the robot's top Kayne is standing on so it look like it was an anime from the 90s like the ones I grew up with, thanks always Tim!

Now that you mention it, this definitely reminds me of the anime I grew up with, which actually makes this all the more awesome!

Hmm...Well, most likely Gundam, the original Transformers, Digimon, Pokemon. Mostly this reminds me of Pokemon because of the Team Rocket Trio constantly blowing their paychecks on expensive mechs that end up lasting about two episodes, but they usually only lasted one! xD
